We took a day trip to Franklin while visiting Nashville and had lunch at this cute restaurant. It definitely met our expectations. Great food with great service. We love how they kept the interior look to reflect it's past history. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to come and enjoy the live music at some point. Great location. Paid parking available around the back of the building and a parking garage across the street from the front door.
Puckett’s has the best Southern food hands down. I’ve had their Brisket and their Baby Back ribs- amazingly delicious! Sauces are so tasty to add on and every single side is perfection- I’ve tried the Fried Green tomatoes, Grits, Macaroni & Cheese, Baked Beans, and Cole Slaw. Bloody Mary is astounding. Their food tastes exactly the way I wish every Southern restaurant’s food would taste and each item I’ve tried is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had out of anywhere I’ve ever been- and this is coming from a picky foodie. To top things off they have incredible live music from top notch entertainers and artists. If I could go every day I would. It’s a great place to bring family, friends, or simply enjoy for yourself- no matter what you’ll have a good time. Puckett’s holds a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to go back when I’m in town again.
This was my wife's and my third visit and it did not disappoint. My son and I had the catfish and it was meaty, well seasoned and the breading was spot on. My wife loved her chili Mac, and my daughter liked her pulled pork sandwich. Sides were tasty too. I was not fond of the corn bread mini pancakes, but they were inconsiqential. Highly recommend this place if you are in Franklin TN.
Visited for a late breakfast, actually just before 11am (lunch starts). Greeted quickly and decided on outside seating. The inside is definitely country store decor. Plenty of seating options also with a full bar. Bathrooms are found way in the back around the side of the kitchen. They were quite busy. Not sure if they take reservations but likely. Doris was super friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job taking care of the ordering also taking time to chat. The pancakes were perfectly light and crispy around the edges. Sausage was tasty and delicious. Scrambled eggs were good too. I requested a biscuit with brisket just because I wanted to taste their brisket. Well, they didn’t have any more biscuits, but they did comp me with a brisket sandwich and it was quite good. Woke up the next morning and just had to go back! Don’t miss this opportunity to visit a real nostalgic restaurant and enjoy some Franklin hospitality. I will definitely be back. Urban Cowgill November 2025

While in Franklin on a solo business trip and craving local BBQ, I stopped into Puckett’s Restaurant and grabbed a seat at the bar, and it was absolutely the right call. My bartender/server was super friendly, attentive, and made dining alone feel easy and welcoming. I started with the fried green tomatoes, perfectly cornmeal-crusted, tender inside, and paired with a creamy remoulade that was hard to stop dipping into. For my main, I ordered the Puckett’s BBQ platter with the half chicken, and it was fantastic — juicy, flavorful, and done with that classic BBQ taste: comforting, smoky, and satisfying without being heavy. The sides were just as solid, true Southern comfort that hits all the right notes. I also have to mention the Puckett’s Mule — hands down the best Moscow mule I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. And the sweet potato fries deserve their own shout-out: the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, not greasy, and completely addictive. Great food, great drinks, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
We loved this restaurant. The bartender and food were equally amazing. The band was awesome. We recommend making a reservation and trying the banana pudding.
Food was a 10/10, everyone at my table got the brisket and various sides and it was delish!! Hannah our server was so sweet and attentive and made us laugh! We will definitely be back when we are in the area :)
A very nice place to grab a bit to eat. Reservation recommend on weekends for groups larger than four. Our waitress was attentive and had good recommendations. Kitchen prepared food and they had good presentation. Would have been nice to have one more piece of chicken on the large Cobb salad. We will be returning! Easy parking in the free garage across the street was a win.
While in Nashville, we drove just a bit to visit Puckett's in Franklin. Well worth the pretty drive! The town is beautiful and the people are friendly. Our server, Nicole, was awesome. She had a huge party in addition to us. We did not feel neglected at all! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is charming. Do not skip dessert! The Banana Pudding and Cobbler are amazing.
Pucketts was hands down our favorite restaurant in Franklin. Not only was the food, atmosphere and service amazing but the prices were super reasonable. I think the part that we enjoyed the most was getting to meet Betty (iykyk). She was super sweet and made our visit just that much better 😊 If you’re in the Franklin area, make sure to stop in at Pucketts for a bite. You won’t regret it!
